London Day I

Yesterday me, Geir & Johan packed our gear and bags for three nice nights in London. And of course for our upcoming show this thursday. Adrian is coming over later, he has some personal business to attend. As always we hustled all our instruments for free (neatly dodging the meaningless instrument-fee) across the pond, and arrived on time at the Olympic House Hotel. Our room, the 501, was a regular english hotel room consisting of three beds: two single and one double. This was bound to be a classic trip.

All through the flight we were dreaming of a classic english meal. A angus steak 60 oz burger with chips. The Monkey Puzzle, the local pub, had stopped serving 5 minutes after we arrived. The thoughts running through our hungry minds at this moment are not clear to us at this time. The only thing i remember from yesterday is moving drowzily from pub to pub looking for a place with their kitchen still open. Ten to ten we found the Marlborough Head, a nice pub located by Oxford Street. The not so kind waitress gave us 5 minutes to order, and we chose the first thing that came to mind. A hamburger. From this point on, the trip was already a success.
