LOAD-IN AND LEIPZIG

Loading in the equipment went surprisingly fast when everyone took part.

This morning, after having loaded all our equipment into the bus, the tour officially started. Johan, Adrian and Joakim (our light expert) arrived safely, although a little delayed. We set out from Berlin around 12 pm, and three and a half hours later we arrived in Leipzig. Here we had a brilliant lunch and, after sound-check, a really good dinner, and now we’re sitting backstage all eager to play. The show starts in about an hour.

At the restaurant where we had breakfast we found Norwegian salmon swimming around in an aquarium.

The venue is really amazing. It’s a large, old theatre, but instead of playing for an audience sitting in the amfi, we have turned it all around, so that the scene is between the amfi and the backstage. Thus there is approximately 20 metres between the ceiling and the audience. Massive!

Yesterday Stian and Geir went to the rehearsal room with Marcin and Daniel to prepare all the equipment for the tour. We had to assemble a rack for sound recordning and repair the lid for the Rhodes, amongst other things. Afterwards we went to a restaurant with Erlend, Trebbi (our sound expert) and Jørgen (monitor mixer) and ate gulash. It was delicious. Then we went to a bar nearby to have a drink. Erlend asked for the strongest drink they had. He ended up with a glass of absinthe, which we set on fire. All in all it was a success.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several e-mails with
the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Many thanks!

“LOAD-IN AND LEIPZIG | The New Wine” was in fact in fact engaging
and beneficial! Within modern society that is difficult to achieve.
    Thank you, Vallie
